Silverscreen, March 30, 1922

Keywords: motion picture; movie fan magazine; Richard Dix; Scott O'Dell; Rob Wagner; Russell Iredell; Edwin Bower Hesser; Peggy Hamilton
Collection: opensource
Notes: Scanned from the Taylorology library. At first glance this appears to be a movie fan magazine, and it was obviously intended to be purchased as such. But upon closer inspection, the magazine also contained publicity for five specific Los Angeles movie theaters (Superba, Alhambra, California, Kinema, and Miller's) and it was published by the "Exhibitor's Publishing Co." Perhaps the magazine was primarily sold in the lobbies of that theater group. The magazine includes poetry by Scott O'Dell, illustrations by Russell Iredell, photographs by Edwin Bower Hesser, and a reprinted article by Rob Wagner.
